ErgoDynamic™ Therapeutic Seating, is anatomically correct (for pelvic stability) dynamic seating, was designed by a leading clinical engineer as a solution to the problems of pressure, shear, moisture, and heat while seated. Pressure is eliminated over the ischial tuberosities every 3 minutes increasing blood and lymph flow. Shear forces are controlled by the slight rear-ward tilt incorporated in the seat design and a Reich crossbar that prevents the client from slipping forward in the chair. Heat and moisture are controlled by laser vented holes under the pelvis and thighs (low air-loss therapy), and the moisture vapor permeable TheraSoft™ cover.

1. A deep center seam between the two ischial support chambers provides a recess for the coccyx.

2. A pre-ischial crossbar compartment, is inflated during the cycle to prevent the pelvis from slipping forward.

1. A recessed section running up the mid-back does not inflate to minimized pressure on the spinous processes.

2. The back offers Lateral Trunk Support that can be customized. A combination of foam and varying amounts of air.

3. Horizontal Chambers alternate by inflating and deflating. The back chamber gently curve, which encourages great posture and lumbar support.
