My name is Pat Simpson and I have been a T-9 Paraplegic since
the age of eleven. I am now fifty years-old, looking back, and
it is amazing to me that the medical industry has come so far
with wheelchair design and seating systems. After my first week
with the Ergo Air system, to say I was impressed, would definitely
be an under statement. It is truly a revolutionary product.
Even after ten hours at work it is almost impossible to tell,
from my skin, that I have been sitting. The arthritis pain in
my hips is almost gone and this seating system has helped to
increase the blood flow to my legs. Due to the benefits of this
product, my fatigue factor has also decreased. It is still difficult
for me to believe that something as simple as a seating system
can effect so many things. I have been employed by the Postal
Service for twenty years now and can picture myself making it
through the magical thirty years with the help of the Ergo Air

Dear Peter,
As you might remember, I am the police sergeant shot on duty
in 1980 who wound up a paraplegic and was relegated to a wheelchair.
After physical rehabilitation and many surgeries I enjoyed a
period of relatively good health. This was unfortunately interrupted
by my developing "decubitus" ulcers, pressure sores,
from sitting in the wheelchair. The next twenty years then became
a nightmare of flap surgeries, infections and lengthy hospitalizations
which nearly killed me. My heretofore active life had effectively
ended in bed.

Over the years I had done everything I
could to stay off the bed; I tried air cushions, gel cushions,
foam cushions, electronic cushions, different kinds of wheelchairs
and conveyances, straps,exercises, rehabs, protein therapies,
hyperbarics at the VA, all sorts of bindings and bandages,
still only to wind up in the hospital. After my last flap
surgery the surgeon told me that there was not enough tissue
left on my buttocks for any more surgeries, meaning I would
not be able to sit up again.
My wife and I had been searching and accessing as many resources
as possible all along. We had found your web site on the internet
some time ago but hesitated, thinking that it would just be
another waste of time. My wife finally talked me into contacting
your company. The results were wonderful. Your Ergo Air dynamic
seating system WORKS!! We'd all but given up on having any
semblance of normalcy in our lives. Since receiving your seating
system I am back to having as full a day as I want. Not only
did your system help heal what residual wound was left over
from the surgery, but I have found that I am safe from any

Southern California, with my anatomy fully intact ( I did
